Merhaba, ben Robert!

Continuing in English as I just started learning Türkish!  Smile
I bought my Tofas in February, it's a Dogan L. 5-6 Tofas cars were imported to Hungary in 1991, this is one of them, and the only one remained in the country! It had one owner from new, 103.000 kms on clock. I want to restore it to it's former glory, maybe modify it a little bit!  Smile
I joined your forum to learn more about this vehicle, as there is nobody to ask here in Hungary!

Here are some pics for your pleasure:

Welcome
Hoşgeldin Robert RoberSmile
welcome bilader, good luck with your car, how much did you buy it?
Hoşgeldin  Hoşgeldin  We are very happy and excited that you have joined us, Robert. We will try to help you as much as we can. We are very excited to see Tofaş outside of Turkey. I really like your vehicle.
Thank you for all the welcoming words!
I bought the car for 200.000 HUF (~8.700TL). It was cheap compared to the prices in Türkiye, but Tofas parts are not available here (nor Fiat 131 parts, it wasn't sold here), so I have to order everything from your country, and the shipping is expensive.
Thankfully, some parts are accessible here too, because of compatibility.
I have fitted:

- Lada Niva thermostat (Ladas are super popular here, especially older ones)
- Zastava/Yugo brake discs and pads (ön fren disk, balatasi)
- Renault 5 brake master cylinder (fren ana merkezi)
- Citroen C15 rear brake shoes (arka fren balatasi)
- Fiat Regata air filter
- etc.

But I still need a lot of parts which is not available here:
- a good radiator (radiyatör)
- replacement sills (???), front foot wells (???) and rear wheel arches (arka camurluk agzi)
- front bumper lip (ön tampon lip)
- shock absorbers (ön-arka amortizör)
- lowering springs (spor yay)
- almost every part of the suspension (denge kolu takimi), including the part that holds the panhard rod to the chassis
- headers and full exhaust system (egsoz sistemi), now I have a modified Lada 2107 system with stock (and cracked) manifold
- low offset wheels are very expensive and rare here, so maybe a set of para delik wheels too  Smile
